| The name "One Split Second" is one way of explaining my life. On the night of March 6, 1989 besides a few minor physical problems from playing sports I went to bed a healthy 198 lb. athlete standing 6 foot 4 and playing baseball for Scottsdale Community College (Scottsdale, Arizona). An athlete, who at Bay City High School (Bay City, Texas) lettered in three sports (baseball, basketball and football). Hours later my life would be changed forever. As a result of this, I have decided to tell my story to others in an effort to prevent them from making poor decisions that could forever alter their life. In addition, I speak to groups in Arizona about overcoming adversity. |
